Storage at Cofinal is counted per litre per night from the total volume of your items in stock, and your storage cap is recalculated continuously to fit about 90 days of sales volume.

What is the storage cap?

Your storage cap is the amount you can keep in stock at the base storage price. It starts at 4,000 litres.

We count in euro pallets (120 × 80 cm) and half pallets (80 × 60 cm):

Unit Volume
Europalle (120 × 80 cm), 1 meter høj 960 litres
Europalle (120 × 80 cm), 2 meter høj 1,920 litres
Halvpalle (80 × 60 cm), 1 meter høj 480 litres

So the starting cap equals about to europaller two-metre pallets, fire europaller one-metre pallets or otte halvpaller one-metre half pallets.

How do I raise my storage cap?

The cap is recalculated continuously from the items you have sent in the last 28 days, so it always fits about 90 days of sales volume.

If you have sold items with a total volume of 2,000 litres in the last 28 days, your storage cap is raised to 6,429 litres.

What happens if I exceed the cap?

If your items exceed the cap, storage continues unchanged. A surcharge of 0.03 kr. per litre per day applies for each litre above the cap.

Storage Price per litre per day
Base 0.01 kr.
Surcharge for items stored over 60 days + 0.01 kr.
Surcharge for litres above your storage cap + 0.03 kr.

Why is there a storage cap?

At Cofinal we want a healthy flow of goods, where your products reach customers instead of tying up capital in stock. The storage cap adapts automatically to demand, so you are not left with unsold items.
