At Cofinal you pay for your usage: fulfillment, returns and storage. Payment is drawn automatically on your payment card, either when your usage reaches your spending limit, or at the latest every 7 days.

When is payment drawn?

When your items are processed (fulfillment, return) or stored overnight, costs accrue on your Cofinal account. The spending limit is the amount you can use before we draw payment. When the limit is reached, the accrued amount is drawn automatically on your payment card in the morning between 06:00 and 09:00. Your costs may therefore exceed the spending limit until payment is drawn the next morning. Everything accrued since last time is paid in one combined charge.

Spending limit Payment drawn
Usage rises until the spending limit is reached. The next morning payment is drawn, and usage starts over.

How is the spending limit raised?

When you start at Cofinal, your spending limit is DKK 200 excl. VAT. Each payment completed on time raises the limit so it follows your usage. Think of it as building a good payment history. The limit can also fall again if your usage drops or payments fail. The goal is for a normal week to end in one combined weekly payment, with the spending limit only as a safety net.

How often is payment drawn?

At most 7 days pass between your payments. Each time payment is drawn, whether at the spending limit or after 7 days, the interval restarts.

Where can you see your usage?

You can always see your current usage, down to each order, under billing in your dashboard. The usage line there shows the amount incl. VAT. All prices exclude 25 percent VAT, and VAT is itemised on each invoice.

What happens if payment fails?

If the amount cannot be drawn, for example because your card has expired, we pause new dispatches until payment is completed. Afterwards everything continues automatically, and already dispatched orders are not affected.
